For some years now, the topic of diversity and inclusion has been on the agenda of Human Resources departments worldwide. But what do we mean by these terms?
HR professionals have seen an exponential increase in the need for targeted action in recent years. In addition to so-called "historical" topics - such as gender equality, disability - more recent topics such as LGBTQ+ inclusion and religion have appeared, closely followed by the employability of senior workers, caregivers and long-term illness returnees amongst others. Yet, these issues are not to be considered in a chronological manner, but are, in fact, intertwined. It is therefore difficult to integrate them into an HR agenda.
So, what if we got ourselves to a winning start?
